The Divine Life Society has four centres for the treatment of leprosy, two of which have their expenses borne entirely by the Society, and two others that are funded independently. The total number of beneficiaries in the various colonies in and around Rishikesh is 194. In addition, the Society provides funding for a Leprosy Centre in the state of Orissa, as well as medical treatment and food for ten outpatient leprosy victims through the Laxman Jhula Leprosy clinic. |
