The Divine Life Society International Headquarters (Sivananda Ashram) is beautifully laid out on the sylvan Himalayan Foot hills interposed with spurs and saddles and the beautiful Holy River Ganga flowing majestically by its side, at Muni-ki-Reti, 3 Kms. away from the holy city of Rishikesh on the Rishikesh-Badrinath Highway. The setting is so alluring and capturing that all physical and mental ailments are forgotten for a moment and there appears to be a standing invitation by the Hills and Dales and the Sacred Ganga, for periodical visits by people form all Countries and from all strata of society for recoupment and conditioning of both body and mind. Added to this the Ashram is a most Holy Pilgrimage Spot for Spiritual Seekers, Devotees of Gurudev Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj and lovers of God from all over the world. Here live a band of dedicated Sanyasins, Monks and Seekers after Trutuh trained by the Great Master Sri Swami Sivanandaji, for service to the Humanity. This Holy place has been treaded by the Saints and Sages of yore and there is tangible Spiritual Vibration.

The Sivananda Ashram has a long tradition of hosting Spiritual seekers both from India and Abroad. Those devotees who are desirous of partaking in the programmes and activities of the ashram and desirous of staying in the Ashram should write a letter or an E-mail introducing himself/herself with full postal address, indicating the purpose of the Visit, number of days of stay, total number of persons accompanying and date of arrival etc., to:

Guests, devotees and Visitors are requested to obtain written permission prior to their visit to the Ashram which will facilitate the smooth organization and arrangement of their stay.

The Ashram being a Charitable Organization and Monastery, the guests, visitors and devotees are not charged for accommodation and food. However any Voluntary Donation / Love Offering to carry on with the Society’s charitable activities will be gratefully accepted. The sacred task the Holy Master left behind is being carried on by His devoted disciples through the generous donations offered by the devotees and visitors.

The accommodation facility available in the Ashram being limited, long stay will not be possible. Our guests and devotees will be provided available accommodation as on their date of arrival and are expected to participate in the daily regular activities including the Night Satsang of the Ashram. Guests and devotees are also expected to maintain the Sanctity, Discipline of the ashram and abide by the Rules of Ashram.

Those sincere devotees and seekers who are desirous of interacting with Swmijis regarding Spiritual matters may do so while here at the ashram. The Senior Swamijis’ and Monks of the ashram will be happy to guide the seekers.
