One can say that the Divine Life Society is present wherever there is a sincere devotee following the teachings of Swami Sivananda. At the same time on a more formal level, there are associations of devotees in specific localities all over India and the world with the purpose of serving the overall mission of the DLS. These are the branches of the Society, and their activities may include such things as meetings and satsangs, bringing out publications, organising charitable service and raising money to provide aid to those in need. There are close to 300 branches in India alone, and a number of branches are to be found in such countries as the UK, Belgium, Australia, the USA, and Malaysia among others. |
