(Spiritual Q & A and guest book)
There are times when questions arise regarding the spiritual
that one has difficulty dealing with on one's own. One wonders: "What
does all this mean, how can it be applied, what am I to do in the face
of complications, obstacles and personal difficulties, what about my doubts,
etc.?" The person may not feel comfortable merely going through a
book; the assurance and advice of a more knowledgeable individual is needed.
Personalised interaction with an informed and dedicated spiritual advisor
can be very helpful for a seeker facing a problem or who is attempting
to answer a question. In light of this, we are providing an opportunity
for visitors to this site to pose questions to senior monks of the Sivananda
Ashram. The questions that are written here will be collected and read,
and after careful consideration a response will be provided (hopefully
within a week). Visitors are invited to submit their questions here at
"Spiritual Questions and Answers."
Normally in the Western countries when one visits a museum or historical
site, there is a guest book there which the visitor can sign and where
comments can be entered. We would like to provide the same opportunity
to visitors to our site in our own "Guest Book." We would love
to hear your comments as to what was helpful for you on the site and the
